6th Grade - Stress
When I was in 6th grade, I would stress out all of the time. I would stress over what someone would think about me, I would stress over if someone liked me or not and this would end up effecting my mindset. I didn't know what they were thinking, but because of the bad treatment that I from got lots of people in my school, I would assume that it was something bad. It would be hard to walk into class, because I couldn't handle the eyes that were watching me as I walked into class, "what are they thinking?" I thought, "They shouldn't look at me, I don't look pretty" I thought. After a while of praying, reading the bible and trusting in God, my confidence in myself became stronger in 7th - 8th grade. When I looked back at my old self, I saw that the devil was attacking my mind with negative thoughts, and because I accepted these thoughts, I started to believe them more and more, which caused me Anxiety and stress. But, good saved me from the Anxiety and stress by helping me to think more positively, my mindset didn't change over night, but I prayed that Jesus would help me make my mindset more positive. God helped me through my mother because through her she told me how I should think in situations to help me think positively.
Here are the ways that I think positively.
Replace every negative though with a positive one.
Whenever you feel negative and you feel a positive thought coming don't stop the positive thought from entering your mind (The positive thought is Jesus encouraging you)
Write down encouraging messages on your alarm, so that when you wake up in the morning, you see the encouraging note to start your day!
Other ways to think Positively.
Write positive notes on sticky notes and put them on things that you look at in the morning, so that you won't be sad.
Do the Our Father Prayer and Listen to positive music/Gospel music.
Listen to or Read the Bible and take heed to what you are listening to/reading (keep what you are reading in your sprit and do your best to apply to your life everyday)
When you find yourself beating yourself up, stop and encourage yourself (remember it's okay to mess up, as long as we truly repentant and do our best not to do it again.)
